SUPPORT WORKER
Baldwin Care Collective is seeking a Support Worker to provide compassionate, trauma-aware support to our participants.
This includes:
- Providing mental health and psychosocial support in a respectful, strengths-based way
- Assisting with daily living tasks, including domestic cleaning during some shifts.
- Building safe, trusting relationships with participants
- Communicating clearly and kindly with participants, families, and our team
Must-Haves:
- Experience or strong understanding of mental health and trauma-informed care
- A mature, grounded approach to navigating complex human situations
- A genuine, empathetic nature — kindness is your default
- Full driver’s licence, WWCC and Police Check (Or willing to obtain)
- Willingness to support with domestic tasks, including cleaning
- Ability to work independently while staying connected to a supportive team Familiarity with the NDIS or community care sector
Bonus Skills:
- Previous experience with professional cleaning
- First Aid & CPR certification
